In 2019 North Carolina will have two special elections: NC03 and NC09. North Carolina NC03 will have a special election to replace Rep. Walter Jones who died in office. North Carolina NC09 will have a new election for because of election fraud committed by the 2018 Republican candidate's team.

Online voter registration is not available to North Carolina residents

Voter Registration Has Closed for the 2019 Special Election
Voters may download the voter registration form from https://tinyurl.com/ncreginfo or they can register in person at their county registrar. Voters that need to register may register and vote during the early voting period from August 21st through September 6th at your county's early voting location. Early voting schedules vary from county to county so be sure to check with your county Board of Elections to find early voting hours.

The United States Representative for North Carolina’s Third District, Congressman Walter B. Jones, passed away on February 10, 2019.

Six Democratic candidates, seventeen Republican candidates, one Constitution Party candidate, and two Libertarian candidates filed to seek their respective parties’ nominations to appear on the general ballot for U.S. House Seat 3. (See this link to view the candidate list)
