Registration can be done either in person, by mail, or online.

To register online, please visit: https://tinyurl.com/alreg2020

To register in person, Alabama citizens can visit their local board of registrars or any state or county county office that provides public assistance..

In Alabama, public assistance offices, such as Medicaid, WIC, and DHR, must distribute voter registration forms, provide assistance in completing the forms if necessary, and accept such forms.

Registration is not complete until the County Board of Registrars reviews and approves the voter application. Voters can check their registration status here: https://myinfo.alabamavotes.gov/voterview

Voting by mail
Due to COVID-19, anyone can vote by mail but must request a ballot.

Voters with concerns about COVID-19 should mark the box citing physical illness or infirmity preventing them from going to the polls.

Absentee Ballots can be requested at this link:  https://www.sos.alabama.gov/alabama-votes/absentee-ballot-applications

Completed Ballots must be dropped off in person or postmarked by Nov. 2nd and received no later than Nov. 3.

In person absentee voting

Voters must present a valid government issued photo identification.

Voting on Election Day
Voters must present a valid government issued photo identification at their polling place unless exempted by law.
